An award is made each year at DUG's Annual Conference at the Royal Society in recognition of advances made to produce better information. Here are the winners: 2019 Award Presented to: Peter El Hajj BEng MSc PhD on behalf of Centre for Digital Based Britain For: The publication of the Gemini Principles to guide the information management framework for the creation of a national digital twin. Whilst the initial process was motivated by the requirement to generate a digital mapping of the UK infrastructure, the principles provide a framework that can be utilised in a wide variety of different situations across the UK.
